    Архитектура гостиницы «Симпозиум» идеально сочетается с городским окружением спокойного района Кракова. Ранее на месте гостиницы находилась каменоломня, где в 1940 году работал, как рабочий, Кароль Войтыла (папа Иоанн Павел II). Гостиница построена из красивого песчаника, тёплой и деликатной осадочной породы, которая составляет также некоторые части гор Судет, Бескид, Татр, а также Свентокшиских Гор. Все материалы, используемые для строительства и оснащения гостиницы «Симпозиум» являются натуральными - настоящий камень, дерево и шерстяные ковры.
