BluEros is a stunning villa with 9 bedrooms,7 bathrooms sleeping up to 14 adults and 2 children. It is located in the south of the beautiful island of Syros in the heart of the Cyclades. Both western influence and Greek tradition prevail in Syros which has developed as the administrative, cultural, and commercial centre of the Cyclades. From the hill at Ano Syros is possible to see as many as ten of the Cycladic islands. Architecture tends to be Medieval rather than Cycladic and the capital city of Ermoupoli is possibly the only remaining uniquely classical city in Greece.

Locals extend a warm hand to visitors and the island holds its own natural beauty. Try some of the Syros specialties like Halva pie, loosa ham, spicy cheeses, and fennel sausage. The island has mountainous north side whilst the south sees most of the settlements, developed tourism, historical attractions, as well as nice relaxing beaches which include organised, secluded (nudist), or family beaches.

BLUEROS VILLA LOCATION

The villa sits measures a massive 600m² and sits on a plot of 5500m² quietly overlooking the sea in an area known as Tria Lagonia near to Megas Gialos on the south side of the island, about a 5minute drive from the village of Posidonia and a 20minute drive from Ermoupoli, the capital of the island. With privacy, comfort, and natural landscape in mind local architects put a great deal of thought in to the creation of this superb light and airy, tastefully designed villa where traditional materials and natural elements from the surroundings fuse with modern touches of elegance and luxury. Built on different levels with plenty of lounging areas to choose from the villa has superb sea views of the sea to add to that perfect relaxation and it has its own private steps leading to the sea and a small beach.

BLUEROS VILLA ACCOMMODATION

Even with stylish fixtures and fittings and clean Cycladic style, the villa retains a homely feel. Walls are white with stone walls adding to the interior texture, and furnishing fabrics add splashes of colour with earth tones and some blues. The main part of the villa is spread on two levels separated by just a few steps, and for added privacy there is a lower lever guesthouse. High speed internet is available throughout the villa as is an entertainment audio centre, all bedrooms have air conditioning (four of which also have a ceiling fan), a TV/DVD player, as well as comfortable Cocomat brand mattresses and pillows. Bathrooms have signature toiletries.

Altogether there are 9 bedrooms, 3 shared bathrooms, 4 en suite bathrooms, and 2WCs (of which is close to the pool and has a simple shower). There are 6 double bedrooms with twin, double, or twin beds that convert to a double. In addition there are three smaller single rooms. These single rooms do not have a view and each has a full size sofa bed, one of which can sleep two persons, has wardrobes and an en suite. Two of them are more compact and have draws but not wardrobes and as such may be more suitable for children.

The ground level houses a spacious living/dining area with spectacular sea views, and also a fully equipped kitchen that has contemporary and modern equipment including a 4ring ceramic hob, built-in oven and microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, juicer, wine cooler, sandwich maker, coffee machine, dishwasher, and utensils. Doors open from the kitchen or the dining area to a covered terrace with a dining table and chairs for up to 10 persons. The stylish living area has a sofa, 45"TV, coffee table, arm chairs, comfortable wide stool, foot stool, a telescope, and a stone-walled fireplace, and doors that open to the pool terrace. The open plan dining area has a table for up to 8 persons, and a dresser.

A few steps takes you up to the elegant master suite with a king size bed, a walk-in wardrobe, en suite with a shower, arm chair, and an open plan office space with a table & chair, an easy chair, and a shelved fitment. A private furnished terrace has wonderful sea views.

Four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a WC are just a few steps down from the living area. Two stylish twin bedrooms feature single beds (that can be made in to doubles) and these share a bathroom with a bath and shower, as well as an outdoor furnished terrace. Another smaller single bedroom has a sofa bed (which can pull out to sleep an extra person adults could sleep here but it may be better suited for older children/teenagers) with an en suite with a shower, and the fourth bedroom features a double bed, en suite with shower, and has its own secluded veranda.

A few steps from the bedrooms leads down to the lower level which houses another living/dining area and a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, a bedroom with twin beds (Hypnos mattresses) and en suite with shower, and a small single room with a sofa bed (possibly more suited for a child) and draws.

Finally, there is a guest house with a separate entrance to the rest of the villa and this houses a small kitchen and a living area with a sofa, coffee table, dresser, TV, and a music centre. Also featured is a bedroom with twin beds (that can be made in to a double), and a bathroom with a shower. In addition there is a small room (more appropriate to sleep a child) with a sofa bed and draws. Outside there is a furnished terrace with spectacular views.

The villa also houses a laundry room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, and an iron & ironing board. There is also a downstairs room that could be used as a playroom for children.

The outdoor areas does not disappoint as the villa has an infinity pool of 100m² overlooking the sea and a large furnished terrace as well as a covered relaxation area with comfy sofas. Other relaxation means includes a hammock and an outdoor lounge sofa with a hood. Apart from that there is a covered BBQ area with built-in BBQ (charcoal) and an outdoor kitchen. Seasonal herbs can be freshly picked from the herb garden. There is nothing not to love about this villa!
